Loiusville, KY March 22,2024 –– Two of the top modified semi trucks from the Big Rigs Pulling Series have made the trek to Louisville, Kentucky for the MAC Trailer 
Winter National Pulling event held in the Broadbent Arena– a part of the huge Mid America Trucking Show for 2024.
Bobby Lautenan from Dade City, Florida by way of Ashtabula County, Ohio also is competing for the second time at the MAC Winter Nationals with another CAT powered Pete named “Grape Ape”. This truck was new to the Lautenan team in late 2022 and is in its third year of
competition with the Big Rigs Series having finished in the top five a year ago.
His brother Jeff Lautenan from Jefferson, Ohio has been invited to bring his “Moody Blue” Pete with CAT power to the event for the second straight year. This truck was the 2022 Big Rigs Series Champion and was the winner of the prestigious Buck Pull-Off in Lancaster County, PA in the previous year.
The Big Rigs Pulling Series is the oldest and most prestigious modified semi truck pulling series in the United States having formed at the Mid America Trucking Show in 1990. The series is a subsidiary of Full Pull Productions LLC of Scottdale, Pennsylvania with all events sanctioned through USA-EAST.
