Leroy, Ohio — April 24 — The “Silver Bullet I” Big Rig pulling semi has been purchased by Dale Francis owner of Francis Engineering of Leroy, Ohio. This sale was a part of the disbursal of the Fred Sanders Pulling Team trucks after the untimely death of Mr. Sanders earlier this year. Francis is widely 
known as the architect of numerous V-8 Mack Big Rig pulling machines and at the end of 2023 completed numerous updates to the ‘Silver Bullet I’ under contract to Sanders. This Mack V-8 powered truck was formerly driven by Richard Scott for the Sanders Team and was the USA-EAST Big Rig Champion in three different years: 2012-2013-2015. Francis along with Dick Bonner of Mantua, Ohio also plan to campaign their twin “Maximus Prime” V-8 Macks at selected events in 2024.
