WEAKLANDS TO OPEN 2024 SEASON – MAY 24 and MAY 25, 2024

The USA-EAST championship pulling season will begin the 2024 championship season at the famed Weakland’s Mechanic Shop on Horsepower Hill in Chest Springs, Pennsylvania. This location is just outside Ebensburg, Pennsylvania. All of the high-powered action begins on May 24 and May 25. Pulls start at 7:00pm on Friday and 6:00PM on Saturday with all divisions running for valuable points in the USA-EAST point races. These pulling events are co-sanctioned with Pull-Off Productions, a new member organization with USA-EAST from the eastern part of the state.
One of the highlights of the two-day event will be the first ever appearance of the wildest rides in pulling, the Blown Modified MINI tractors. This division with supercharged big block automotive engines operates with tractors capped at the weight of only 2050 lbs. Noise, Action, Excitement describe this division which will perform on both nights at Weaklands.
FRIDAY, MAY 24: The featured class is the combined Light Pro/Limited Pro Tractor class. This is a “smoker class” with all of the major brands – John Deere, International, Allis Chalmers, Ford New Holland and Case are scheduled to participate. Also for the truck fans will be both the Pro Street 2.6 Diesel 4×4 Trucks and the Triple Crown Diesel 4×4 Trucks, a class that will accept local diesel enthusiasts. Also pulling on Friday is the Youth Class for 12-15 year olds.
SATURDAY, MAY 25: Two tractor divisions will perform including the new Hot Farm/Super Farm combo class and the very interesting Light Limited Super Stock tractors which allows both diesel and alcohol as fuel. Along with the modified mini in a second night of action, the Saturday evening event will also bring the very-powerful modified diesel 4×4 trucks from the Limited Pro Stock (3.0) division.
Don’t forget to stick around after the pulls on both Friday and Saturday nights for entertainment on the all new Horse Power Hill Stage. Friday night will have a DJ while Saturday evening event has the highly-acclaimed local band “Giants of Science” will entertain into the night. This added entertainment is included in your ticket to the pulls.
