The ‘Finals’ of the coveted Rural King Cup will be contested at the Keystone State Nationals at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Brookville, Pennsylvania on this Saturday, June 20 beginning at 7:00pm. This is also a part of the USA-EAST point series for the Run What Ya Brung 4×4 Trucks.
After two events, Jesse Warren and “Shark Bait” holds a commanding lead in the series with 19 points while his nearest competitor is “Jaded” with Matt Mosier as driver at 15 points. Third in the series currently is Calvin Miller “Runnin’ in the Red” with 12 points. The dark horse is Jayden Litman and “Something to Prove” as she won the first event at Meadville, but had to miss the MEGA Pull due to her other truck participating in the European Cup Series in the Netherlands. She returns to the June 20 event and can still be a factor in top three. Mike Hearn and “Bad Attitude 2” also checks in with 10 points and can make a run at the top three positions.
The Rural King Cup series pays a handsome bonus in addition to the large purse paid out to all Run What Ya Brung events. First place receives the coveted cup and an additional payment of $2000. Second receives $1000 and Third place gets a $500 bonus.
