People familiar with the trucking industry more than likely know that March is the annual Mid America Trucking Show. This year marks the 50th Anniversary for this prestigious show in Louisville, KY. This event brings not only the most beautiful show trucks from across the country but also brings leading industry manufacturers to show case their newest innovations. If you are into trucking, you will not want to miss this event.
2022 marks the first year that some of the best “BIG RIG” pulling semis will get to pull on the clay track at the famed Freedom Hall. Mike Conny, owner of MAC Trailer, is the promoter and Title Sponsor of this inaugural event. Mike is no stranger to the trucking industry nor truck and tractor pulling as he regularly competes with his two PRO STOCK tractors throughout the summer. A great lineup of Pro Stock Tractors, Unlimited Super Stock Alcohol Tractors, Mini Rod Tractors, and Big Rig Semis will be competing tonight for the first time during the Mid-America Trucking Show.
A top feature of tonight’s show is the BIG RIGS, six of the best BIG RIGS from across the country will be competing tonight for the first championship at MATS and the $10,000 top prize. Jeff Lautanen and his CAT powered Peterbilt called Moody Blue received one of the few invites for tonight’s event. Jeff was the runner up in the BIG RIGS points race in 2021. Jeff owns a small trucking company in North Eastern Ohio and regularly competes in the east with Full Pull Productions and USA East Sled Pulling. We would like to congratulate Jeff for being selected for this event and wish him luck in tonight’s pull.
Full Pull Productions is the oldest private promoter and producer of Truck and Tractor pulling events in the country. Full Pull Productions, LLC. is the parent company of the Big Rigs Pulling Series, the oldest series of events that are dedicated to the over-the-road trucking industry.
