SUNNY SKIES GREET PULLERS & FANS FOR THE GEAUGA POWER PULL

Things got hot in Geauga County yesterday as not only was the weather hot but so was the action on the track. The event operated by the professional staff of Full Pull Productions the parent of USA-EAST pulling showcased some of the top running pulling tractors and trucks in the eastern United States. Once again, the grandstands at the awesome Geauga County Fairgrounds in Burton OH was packed with spectators.
To start off the evening the Decision Maker Pulling Sleds Hot Rod V-8 Tractors took to the track. Thirteen of the nostalgic modified tractors took to the track. The Janoski Team of Clinton Pennsylvania was the team to beat as they took the top three spots. Winning the class was “Old Yeller” driven by Tom Janoski, Jeremy Seibel and “Leaded” was second followed by, Dan Janoski on “The M”
The Cotton’s Custom Diesel LLC. Triple Crown Street Diesel trucks took to the track next with the top 3 spots all going to Cummins powered machines. Aaron White with his 06 Dodge took the win, followed by Brady Myer, and Travis Ritenour.
The Youth class saw Jonah Moose take his dads Dodge,” Dad’s Ride Home” down the track for the first time ever. Jonah is the son of Full Pull Productions Announcer Josh Moose.
Ten of the Classic Super Stock Smoker Tractors were on tap next. The Classic Super Stock Tractors are one of the most colorful classes in pulling right now with; Ford, Allis Chalmers, John Deere, International, Farmall. Taking first place was Eric Simmons and his beautifully prepared black International called “Crushin It” while 2nd and third went to 5010 John Deeres of Kyle Hawk and Tim Hawk respectively.
Both the Kool Street and Pro Street Semis were on hand also with the Top Spot in Pro Street going to Mike Adams in his beautifully prepared Kenworth he calls “Az Is”. The Top 3 spots in the Kool Street semis all were within ten feet with Jim August and his Peterbilt taking the win, second went to Chase Cantanes with his Kenworth, and third place went to Olin Benjamin.
The Ultra powerful Limited Pro Stock (3.0) diesel 4×4 trucks sponsored by Litman Excavating had a field of Eleven registered at the Geauga Power Pull on Saturday night. A Lady driver, Kay Lipiec, from New York was able to beat all the boys to take home the win with her Haisley prepared Cummins power plant. Second place went to the Duramax powered Chevy called “The Common Hooker” of Chuck Dutter. Third went to the current points leader of Dominic Gambino and the Brother’s Diesel Dodge.
Next up for USA-EAST pulling will be the Fire Cracker 300 at The New Centerville Fire Dept in Rockwood PA. The Heritage Track was all new in 2023 and hosted its first ever pull at the great facility. This year brings some exciting additions to the event as the “Duel Fuel” Super Stock and Pro Stock Tractors will be pulling for not only the regular purse but also $5000 to the weekend winner of the class. The Wild Mini Rods will be back along with the ever popular Run What Ya Brung 4×4 trucks, Pro Street 2.6 Trucks, and the all new Light Pro Stock Tractors. Fearless Leasing of Rockwood has generously agreed to sponsor the additional purse for the Duel Fuel Class.
