USA-EAST 4x4 TRUCK RULES MEETINGS HELD
The Tech and Safety Committee of USA-EAST met on October 8th with the owners and drivers of 4x4 trucks tha
While most classes will stay very much the same next season some decisions came out of the meetings that will affect a few of the 4x4 truck pulling classes with USA-EAST in 2010:
1.) Street licensed diesel 4x4 trucks will use the official rules of the NADM 2.6 class starting with the first event of 2010. These rules will eliminate water injection but will allow for ‘hanging weights’.
2.). The former 6200lb. OPEN Street licensed gasoline class has been abolished. It will be split into two parts as follow:
PART ONE: A new class -6500lb. PRO STREET GASOLINE- has been started and will be sanctioned by USA-EAST in 2010. This class will take in the upper level trucks from the older abolished 6200 OPEN class and will permit ‘hanging weights’.
PART TWO: Street stock gasoline trucks will have a new set of rules that will be ‘very much stock’ beginning in 2010. This class will take in trucks from the more stock of the former 6200 OPEN class.
3.) Pro Stock Diesel trucks will remain essentially the same with just some minor rules ‘tweaking’.
4.) ‘Run What Ya Brung’ will see virtually the same rules as was the case with the 2009 season.
Complete and official 2010 rules for all pulling classes with USA-EAST will be posted on this web page by the first week of November, 2009.
